Hi there, allow me to introduce myself, my name is Orite Levy, I am the Author and Creator here at Assorted Arts Press & Assorted Arts Press Kids. It is my journey in this life to bring more joy to everyone's life that I touch. You see, we are not taught how to be joyful as it is not the immediate state of the world and that immediate state is what we have a tendency to absorb as we are growing. It is My mission to bring Successful Practices to both children and adults. Successful practices are a key component to a joyful life, trust me, I know.
A little about myself, I come from a family that was quite negative in so many ways. Learning this negative way of being in this world led me to slog through years of depression and through those struggles, I have learned a lot of very valuable information. Much of this information is lacking in our teachings as a culture and especially as a part of our children's curriculum. I know that had I had these practices impressed upon me at a young age, they would have helped me much more easily battle any onset of the depression that ran in my family. I simply did not have the tools nor was it known that they were indeed needed for children to learn. In this day and age, it has become more necessary than ever to boost our children's confidence and self worth. They need to know that they are stronger than everything they hear and see. That they in fact matter and that they can succeed.
That is where I come in, I have committed myself to making it easier for other people to cultivate joy, a lot different than the way that I have had to fight to do. By using my affirmation and other books, one can direct the mind to a positive outlook even when the world is such a negative place. The addition of positive practices can help to raise well adjusted mentally balanced adults.
